Corrections and takedown requests
Report a wrong fact or ask for something to be removed. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours and tell you what we did.
Corrections
Anything factual can be corrected: a title or alias, an episode count, where a drama is available, a date, a genre or trope, a credit, a studio, or a sentence in a summary. Send the page address, the fact that is wrong, the right fact, and where it can be checked (the app listing or credits screen). Corrections are made against that source, and the record’s “facts last updated” date changes.
Takedown requests
A takedown asks us to remove something rather than fix it: personal information about you, an image you hold the rights to, a link that should not exist, or your people page as a whole. Tell us who you are in relation to the content (the person concerned, the rights holder, or their representative) so that we can verify the request.
What to include
- The address of each page concerned.
- The exact text, image or link you are writing about.
- Whether you want it corrected or removed, and why.
- Your relationship to the content and, for rights claims, what shows you hold the rights.
- An address we can answer at.
No legal form is required for a request about your own personal data.
How we handle it
- We acknowledge within 48 hours.
- We verify the request against the public listing, our records, or the proof you sent.
- We correct, remove, or explain why we keep the content, and we tell you the outcome.
- A removed page returns a permanent “gone” status and leaves our sitemaps, so search engines drop it.
Where a rights claim is disputed by another party, we keep the content down while the parties resolve it.
What we remove
- Personal information beyond professional facts: private life, family, contact details, location, health, or anything not part of a public credit.
- Images, on the request of the rights holder: the poster we display is removed and a typographic card takes its place.
- A people page, on the verified request of the person it concerns. Credits already public on the platforms remain on the drama records as plain text.
- Links to unofficial streams, mirrors or downloads, and any link reported as unlawful.
- Factual errors, as corrections.
What we keep
Facts of public listings stay: that a title is listed on an app, its title there, its episode count, the counters the app displays on a given date, its chart ranks, its genres and tropes, and professional credits already shown by the platform. We do not remove accurate facts because they are unflattering, and we do not alter chart history except to fix a wrong snapshot. The full rules are in the editorial policy.
